Detailed JD : Minimum of 5 years of industry experience managing MySQL Perform MySql database administration on on premise or cloud Ensure best practises of database access and security Work closely with the Development teams to review the DB schema changes in every release cycle Monitor the DB performance for slow queries indexes and various other DB metrics Experience on Database migration and performance monitoring tools Experience working with databases like Postgresql Document DB etc is a bonus Ability to learn new technologies as required by the role Performed Installation new databases design configuration backup recovery security upgrade schema changes tuning and data integrity Performed incremental backup and log file rotation Increased database performance by utilizing MSSQL configuration changes multiple instances Creating and managing meaningful table indexes to improve performance Familiar with handson experience on different MSSQL cluster setups like Innodb Galeria Percona in both activeactive and activepassive configurations Hands on experience in Upgrading MSSQL Strong experience with SQL and PLSQL including solid troubleshooting SQL tuning skills Identify areas for improvement in SQL operations and implementations Extensive experience with the Extract Transform and Load phases of data intake as well as known best practise Experienced in platform support project and development projects
