Job Description


As a Data Test Manager, you will be responsible for establishing QA best practices with a high degree of automation, delivering strategic capabilities, and leading a team of testers.

You will report to the Senior Data Engineering Manager and be part of the Product & Technology Team, which is setting up a new function in Data and Analytics. This role involves hands-on work, strategic planning, and team leadership.

What you will do

  • Lead and manage a team of QA engineers.
  • Define and execute strategies and best practices to ensure the quality of Data and Analytics Products, including enterprise presentation layers, APIs, subject-oriented marts, dashboards, reports, and cubes.
  • Promote high levels of QA automation within CI/CD pipelines.
  • Collaborate with engineers to test data lifecycle management solutions.
  • Develop solutions that meet high standards for non-functional requirements, ensuring support and smooth transition to operations teams.
  • Define, document, and enforce best practice SDLC processes and standards.

Managerial/Leadership Responsibilities:

  • Hire, retain, and lead top technical talent within a large enterprise.
  • Manage staff performance, inspiring, growing, and motivating team members.
  • Handle difficult performance conversations effectively.
  • Develop and communicate clear goals and objectives for the team, aligned with business strategy

Qualifications
  • Candidate should have minium 10+ years in ETL,Snowflake, Informatica.
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a large corporate environment handling high volumes of data.
  • Proven track record of establishing best practice QA governance.
  • Strong process and documentation skills.
  • Expertise in development and test cycle automation.
  • Experience with cloud tools (preferably AWS).
  • Knowledge of OLAP and Tabular Cubes.
  • Solid understanding of data modelling methods (e.g., Kimball).
  • Proficiency in SQL performance optimization.
  • Skills in Python and Snowflake.
  • Experience with testing environments and code promotion strategies.
  • Proficiency in PowerBI.
