Data Scientist (Client Engagement & Project Lead)

Role Overview:

Data Science professional

Key Responsibilities:

• Client Engagement & Requirement Gathering

• Work onsite with clients to understand their business challenges and translate them into data science/AI solutions.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for client communication and relationship management.
• 
  

• Project Management & Delivery

• Lead data science/AI/GenAI projects from scoping to delivery.
• Define project timelines, allocate tasks, and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Data Engineers, ML Engineers, Analysts) to ensure smooth execution.
• 
  

• Team Leadership & Mentorship

• Guide, mentor, and review the work of junior data scientists and analysts.
• Foster a culture of learning, innovation, and accountability in the team.
• 
  

• Generative AI Expertise

• Apply cutting-edge

  GenAI techniques

  (LLMs, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, embeddings, RAG, etc.) in solving client problems.
• Evaluate new tools, frameworks, and models for practical client use cases.
• 
  

• Business Development Support

• Assist the marketing and business teams in identifying

  new opportunities

  with existing clients.
• Contribute to proposal creation, solution pitches, and client presentations to drive business growth.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• B.Tech (mandatory) in Computer Science, Data Science, AI/ML, or related field.

• 5–7 years of experience

  in Data Science/AI projects, with at least

  1 year in Generative AI

  .
• Proven track record of

  client-facing roles

  and

  onsite client engagement

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  Python, ML/DL frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn)

  , and data handling tools.
• Hands-on experience with

  Generative AI tools (OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain, RAG pipelines, etc.)

  .
• Excellent

  project management

  and

  team leadership

  skills.
• Strong communication and presentation abilities for client and business discussions.
