As a Data Scientist at BillCut, you’ll sit at the intersection of credit, technology, and behavioural data, helping shape our financial products with cutting-edge analytics and AI.
* Analyze transactional, behavioural, and credit bureau data to inform product and risk strategies.
* Build and deploy credit decision models, risk scoring engines, and automated loan approval systems.
* Develop fraud detection and credit risk models using real-time signals.
* Drive experiments (A/B tests) and monitor model performance post-deployment.
* Collaborate with product, engineering, and operations to bring scalable data solutions into production.
* Work on ML/AI-powered mobile lending features — from idea to deployment.

* 0–2 years of hands-on experience in data science (internships and academic projects count!).
* Proficiency in Python and experience with ML algorithms (ANN, Random Forest, GBM, etc.).
* Solid grasp of feature engineering, data quality, and preprocessing best practices.
* Understanding of financial models and consumer lending workflows.
* Sharp problem-solving ability — can break down complex issues and validate hypotheses.
* An active and professional LinkedIn profile is required.
