Description of the role:

We are looking for a Data Science Manager to lead and fully own the development and

delivery of multiple Artificial Intelligence teams. To be successful in this role, you should be confident in managing your teams while, at the same time, setting goals and timelines for various projects. You will also be responsible for integrations with external partners and oversee all software development plans from ideation to execution to testing to release. In this role, you will be required to coordinate with Insurer partners and cross functional stakeholders, manage multiple teams, closely work with the Product Management team and work closely with Software Architects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple AI teams specializing in Computer Vision, Machine Learning, and NLP.
• Ensure full adherence to Agile methodology across all teams and deliver high-quality products within committed time frames.
• Invest in the development of team members, fulfill their training needs, and coordinate with external stakeholders for new integrations and tools.
• Innovate on both products and processes, including the development of novel algorithms and modeling techniques.
• Understand and design solutions to business problems leveraging Data Science and AI, manage and optimize deliverables, and present them to stakeholders.
• Develop POCs to enhance team capabilities and ensure product compliance with security regulations.

Mandatory Skills

• Proficiency in Python, multi-threaded GPUs, and Linux environment.
• Experience in applying machine learning and computer vision principles to real-world data.
• Strong understanding of Computer Science, math, and statistics fundamentals.
• Knowledge of data science technologies such as Python, Pandas, Scipy, Numpy, matplotlib, etc.
• Broad knowledge in Computer Vision and Machine/Deep Learning.
• Familiarity with Open CV, Dlib, Yolo, Capsule Network or similar and Open Source AR platforms and products.
• Profound knowledge of Seq2Seq, temporal Classification, Opencv, etc.
• Strong problem-solving and logical skills.
• Experience in managing Multiple teams
• A go-getter attitude with a willingness to learn new technologies.
• Well-versed in software design paradigms and good development practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Vision, or related field with specialization in Image Processing or Machine Learning.
• 8+ Years of Industry experience in Computer Vision, LLM and ML/NLP.
• 3+ years of experience in managing teams
• Research experience in Deep Learning models for Image processing or OCR-related field is preferred.
• Publication record in Deep Learning models for Computer Vision conferences/journals is a plus.
