Data Science Manager

Role Overview: You will be a critical leader within the Industrial System Analytics (ISA) team at GDIA, responsible for defining, prioritizing, and delivering high-value data products and analytical solutions that directly address key business challenges. Your role will involve strategic product thinking, hands-on agile execution, and guiding your team towards exceptional outcomes in a dynamic, data-intensive environment. Key Responsibilities: - Translate high-level business objectives and customer needs into a clear product vision, strategy, and measurable outcomes for your product area. - Own, define, and prioritize the product backlog with clear, actionable user stories and acceptance criteria. - Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, customers, and the development team, fostering strong relationships. - Ensure delivered software and analytical solutions meet desired business outcomes, quality standards, and compliance requirements. - Champion Agile software development principles, culture, and best practices within your team and organization. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related discipline. - 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role managing digital products or data solutions. - Demonstrated experience in defining product roadmaps, managing backlogs, and prioritizing features. - Proven experience working within an Agile software development environment. - Strong understanding of data analytics, AI/ML concepts, and how they can drive business value. - Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
