With over 12 years of experience and 2 million verifications processed daily, IDfy delivers frictionless, enterprise-grade solutions for KYC, background checks, fraud prevention, and data privacy. Role Summary As a Data Privacy Consultant at IDfy, you will serve as the subject matter expert for privacy compliance engagements. You will work closely with internal teams and external clients to assess privacy risks, implement privacy strategies, and ensure compliance with global data protection regulations such as GDPR, CCPA, and India’s DPDPA 2023. Key Responsibilities Act as a privacy SME across client projects and internal initiatives. Conduct privacy impact assessments (PIA) and data protection impact assessments (DPIA). Develop and implement privacy compliance strategies and data protection roadmaps. Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Legal, Risk, Product, Engineering, and Compliance. Lead data mapping exercises and define privacy-by-design controls. Drive adoption of privacy workflow tools such as the Privy Suite. Create and deliver privacy training programs and awareness sessions. Support responses to privacy RFPs, audits, and regulatory inquiries. Stay updated on global privacy trends, standards, and regulatory developments. Required Qualifications 3–6 years of overall work experience, with at least 2 years in the privacy domain. Strong understanding of privacy laws: GDPR, CCPA, and DPDPA 2023. Experience conducting PIA, DPIA, and data lifecycle mapping. Proven experience in privacy program implementation and compliance delivery. Excellent communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills. Familiarity with risk assessment frameworks and privacy tooling. Preferred Qualifications Certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, or CIPT. Experience working with privacy platforms like OneTrust, TrustArc, or Securiti.ai. Background in consulting or client-facing privacy roles. Show more Show less
