Role Purpose

This role supports our Design Applications strategy by expanding how teams leverage the Autodesk ecosystem. The Autodesk Ecosystem Developer will evaluate emerging tools (ACC, Tandem, Workshop XR, Data Exchange) and build reliable automations across Revit, AutoCAD, and Civil 3D. The objective is to deliver smarter, faster, and more connected outputs without adding overhead, while ensuring compliance with company-wide standards and governance.

Key Responsibilities

• Research & Pilot Emerging Tech

• Evaluate Autodesk solutions (ACC, Tandem, Workshop XR, GeoBIM) and produce functional demonstrations. Also record notes on fit/risk/ROI.

• Develop Automations & Add-ins

• Build add-ins via (C#/.NET/Dynamo/Python) scripts; maintain a tested, documented internal library for scalable workflows.

• Integrate Cloud APIs & Data Models

• Test and create APS (Autodesk Platform Services) and ACC API integrations for model processing, metadata extraction, and automated publishing. Support interoperability with Bentley, GIS, and Microsoft platforms.

• Enable Data Intelligence & Dashboards

• Stand up Power BI dashboards from ACC/Data Exchange/AEC Data Model for project and portfolio KPIs. Explore AI-driven analytics for model health and decision-making.

• Facilitate XR & Connected Reviews

• Drive XR reviews linked to ACC issues for faster alignment, clash detection, and spatial validation.

• Institutionalize Standards & Governance

• Develop templates, content libraries, and BEP inputs to enforce best practices and digital standards across teams.

Required Qualifications

• 3–7+ years in AEC technology with hands-on Revit API (C#), Dynamo/Python scripting, and strong Revit power-user experience.
• Working knowledge of ACC modules, Data Exchange/AEC Data Model, and data connectivity principles.
• Experience with APS (Forge) or similar cloud APIs; version control and CI/CD basics.

• Bonus:

  Navisworks, Civil 3D/AutoCAD APIs, IFC workflows, XR/Tandem pilots, Azure/AWS, and AI/ML familiarity.
