Job Description

Data Entry Operator Summary: The Logistics Data Entry Operator is responsible for accurately entering, updating, and maintaining logistics and supply chain-related data into the company’s systems. This role ensures smooth documentation, timely record-keeping, and supports logistics operations by providing accurate information for shipments, inventory, and delivery schedules. The position requires flexibility to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts. Key Responsibilities:Enter and update shipment, inventory, and delivery details into ERP/Logistics management systems. Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of inbound and outbound logistics transactions. Verify data accuracy, cross-check with supporting documents, and resolve discrepancies. Generate and prepare logistics-related reports, invoices, and delivery notes. Assist in tracking shipments, preparing dispatch schedules, and coordinating with warehouse teams. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and documentation requirements. Communicate with vendors, transporters, and internal teams for timely data updates. Support the logistics and supply chain team with clerical and administrative tasks. Required Skills & Qualifications:High school diploma or bachelor’s degree (preferred in Commerce, Business, or Logistics). Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) and data entry software; ERP or logistics software knowledge is a plus. Fast and accurate typing skills with keen attention to detail. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Good communication skills (written and verbal). Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including night shifts.
