Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, document, and understand data-related requirements
  • Analyse business processes and data workflows to ensure accurate and complete requirement capture.
  • Study and Analyse data in various systems to understand nature of the data and derive inferences.
  • Identify gaps in data available and suggest/build solutions to connect data and bridge the gaps
  • Excellent communication and prompt engineering skills, with the ability to design effective prompts and work with AI tools
  • Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical specifications for developers
  • Work closely with the development team to ensure accurate implementation of data solutions
  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports using tools such as Power BI
  • Conduct data validation, user acceptance testing (UAT), and provide feedback to development teams
  • Assist in documentation activities, including requirement specifications, data dictionaries, and process flows
  • Prioritize and manage multiple projects while adhering to tight deadlines
  • Design, test, and optimize prompts for various applications to improve data retrieval and user interaction.
  • Create and deliver clear and concise presentations of data findings to stakeholders.
  • Stay current with Power BI updates, AI, new features, and best practices to enhance performance and functionality. Actively seek out ways to improve reporting processes.

Desired Profile

  • Prior experience in insurance companies/insurance sector would be an added advantage
  • Hands on experience with Microsoft’s Power platform suite of tools including SQL, JSON
  • Exposure to object-oriented programming and data management
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), capable of engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and work effectively in a collaborative environment Expected to handle multiple projects, with stringent timelines
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Actively influences strategy by creative and unique ideas
  • Exposure to documentation activities
