Tokenomics.com provides the most structured and data-backed platform for tokenomics auditing in the industry. We work with funds and VCs to identify risks before they invest, work with exchanges to flag issues prior to listings, optimize projects before launch, and audit blockchain ecosystems. Our goal is to highlight what works, flag what’s broken, and warn where optimization is needed.

Role Description

This is a full-time remote role for a Junior Data Analyst. The Data Analyst will be responsible for analyzing token designs, creating flow charts, documentation, and solving complex tokenomics problems independently. Day-to-day tasks include generating reports, developing data models, performing statistical analyses, and communicating findings to stakeholders via research reports.

Qualifications

• Graduate in Mathematics, Economics, or quantitative field
• Strong mathematical foundation to grasp and model complex systems
• Google Sheets proficiency with complex formulas and creative solutions
• Proven technical writing through reports, documentation, or academic papers
• Ability to create flow charts and visualize systems and processes
• Problem solver mindset as independent thinker who can brute force solutions
• Consistent and reliable work ethic, delivering quality on deadlines
• Fluent English for written documentation and technical communication
• Comfortable with daily remote across time zones + ability to overlap with Europe core hours most days.

Bonus

• Basic Python, Google Colab or SQL for data analysis
• Experience with token utility flow charts, value flow diagrams, or modeling tools (Machinations, streamlit or cadCAD)
• Experience with on-chain data platforms (Dune Analytics)
• Understanding of DeFi protocols and tokenomics models
• Previous experience in web3/crypto analytics roles
• Familiarity with AI tools (Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, n8n)

What You'll Do

1. Data Analysis & Modeling

• Analyze token distribution schedules, emission curves, and vesting timelines for launched tokens and audit clients
• Map value flow systems to identify token utilities, value capture and accrual mechanisms
• Identify bottlenecks and inefficiencies in token economies
• Build custom tokenomics models with tailored logic for each client

2. Documentation & Report Creation

• Transform audit results into detailed, professional tokenomics audit reports
• Draft tokenomics design papers explaining the reasoning behind economic decisions
• Create separate documentation for Web3 community and more technical reports with formulas, parameters, and variables for smart contract developers
• Research, analyze and build reports from our 2000+ token database to identify common patterns

3. Visualization & Flow Design

• Create custom value flow diagrams from scratch using Figma/FigJam
• Design token utility flow charts ranging from simple to more complex systems
• Adapt existing workflows and templates to each clients unique requirements
