Role Overview

We are seeking a Dashboard Developer / Data Visualization Specialist who can transform complex datasets into visually compelling, insightful, and interactive dashboards using Power BI or Tableau. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to design, develop, and deploy dashboards that drive strategic decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

· Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and data visualizations using Power BI or Tableau.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective visualization solutions.

· Work with data engineers to ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across sources.

· Create and manage data models, DAX measures, and calculated fields for analytical insights.

· Optimize dashboards for performance, usability, and scalability.

· Integrate data from multiple sources including SQL databases, APIs, Excel, and cloud platforms.

· Manage automated refresh schedules, role-based access, and version control for reports.

· Ensure familiarity and alignment with data schema design, data engineering pipelines, and data governance standards.

· Stay updated with the latest BI tools, visualization techniques, and best practices.

· Provide training, documentation, and support to business users as needed.

Required Skills & Experience

· Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

· Experience: 1–3 years of hands-on experience in dashboard development and BI implementation.

· Strong proficiency in Power BI or Tableau (knowledge of both is a plus).

· Solid understanding of SQL and relational database structures.

· Familiarity with data schemas and data engineering pipelines.

· Working knowledge of MS Fabric, Snowflake, or Databricks environments.

· Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving, and data storytelling skills.

· Proficiency in DAX, Power Query (M language), or Tableau Calculations.

· Experience handling large datasets and optimizing query performance.

· Basic understanding of Python or R for analytics integration (preferred).

· Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Good to Have

· Experience in cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).

· Exposure to Data Science or Machine Learning projects.

· Understanding of ETL processes and data warehousing concepts.

· Power BI or Tableau certification.
