Job Description

• Lead end-to-end implementations of Microsoft Dynamics NAV / D365 Business Central, focusing on Finance modules (GL, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash & Bank, Budgeting, Taxation, Consolidation).
• Conduct workshops, gather business requirements, and prepare detailed documentation (FRD, FDD, BRD, Gap-Fit Analysis, Solution Documents).
• Translate business needs into functional specifications and work closely with technical/development teams.
• Configure, test, and deploy financial modules and related integrations.
• Ensure proper data migration and reconciliation of financial balances from legacy systems.
• Provide leadership to the functional team – guide, review, and mentor consultants and trainees.
• Deliver user training, UAT support, and post-go-live stabilization.
• Act as the client-facing lead for Finance workstream – ensuring smooth communication and stakeholder management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on integrations with third-party systems.
• Ensure compliance with statutory, taxation, and audit requirements in Finance processes.
• Support pre-sales efforts, including client demos, solutioning inputs, and proposal support when required.

Soft Skill- Must Have

• Experience with D365 FO Business Process Management (BPM) and Lifecycle Services (LCS).Experience with DevOps practices and tools.
• Experience with Power Platform tools like Power BI and Power Automate.
• Experience with specific industries (e.g., manufacturing, retail, healthcare).
• Microsoft certifications for D365 FO (MB200, MB300, MB400, MB500).

Technical Skill- Must Have

• 4+ years of experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 FO) or its predecessor Dynamics AX.
• Strong understanding of D365 FO architecture, modules, and functionalities.
• Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing D365 FO customizations using X++ and C#.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with data migration and integration.
• Experience with cloud deployments and Azure services (a plus).

Preferred Experience

• 4+ years of relevant experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365 FO) or its predecessor, Dynamics AX.
• Experience with at least two AX to D365 FO upgrade project.
• Experience working on full life cycle implementations across multiple versions of Dynamics AX/FO.
