About the Role
Seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Presales Engineer to lead customer discovery, solution design, technical demonstrations, and support end-to-end presales cycles across Endpoint Security, DLP, IAM/IGA, Zero Trust, and Cloud Security.
Roles & Responsibilities 1. Lead Generation & Pipeline
  • Identify & qualify cybersecurity opportunities in target accounts.
  • Drive prospecting, account mapping, and partner engagements.
  • Build pipeline across EDR/XDR, DLP, IAM/PAM, SASE/SSE, Cloud Security, SIEM, OT Security.
2. Customer Engagement
  • Engage CIO/CISO/IT/SOC teams to understand security needs.
  • Conduct discovery meetings and map business challenges, risks, and compliance gaps.
3. Solution & Value Selling
  • Present business value, ROI, and use cases.
  • Work with presales for solution design, PoCs, and technical validation.
4. End-to-End Sales Ownership
  • Manage full sales cycle: discovery PoC proposal negotiation closure.
  • Prepare commercial proposals and coordinate with OEMs on pricing, deal
    registration, and BOM.
5. OEM & Partner Collaboration
  • Work closely with key OEMs (CrowdStrike, Palo Alto, Zscaler, Netskope,
    Fortinet, CyberArk, etc.)
  • Run joint calls, campaigns, events, and stay up .
6. Account Management
  • Drive renewals, upsell/cross-sell, and quarterly reviews.
  • Maintain accurate CRM updates and forecasts.
7. RFP & Documentation
  • Support RFP/RFI responses with presales and delivery teams.
  • Ensure compliance with customer procurement processes.
Required Skills Technical (Business-Level)
Understanding of:
EDR/XDR, DLP, IAM/IGA/PAM, Cloud Security (CSPM/CNAPP/CWPP), SASE/SSE/ZTNA, WAF/API Security, SIEM/SOAR, OT/ICS Security.
Sales Skills
  • Strong consultative selling
  • Excellent presentation & negotiation
  • Ability to manage long enterprise sales cycles
  • Strong relationship-building with customers & OEMs
Soft Skills
  • High energy, target-driven, ownership mindset
  • Good communication & problem-solving
  • Ability to work in fast-paced environments
Experience & Qualification
  • 5-10 years in cybersecurity or IT infrastructure sales
  • Experience with OEM-Distributor-Partner ecosystem
  • Proven record of closing enterprise deals
  • Security/OEM sales certifications (preferred)
