As a Customer Service Specialist at Human and the Beast, you'll step into a role at the very heart of our operations, tasked with ensuring every pet parent and their cherished companion consistently receives an extraordinary, empathetic experience.

As a Customer Service Specialist, you'll manage the end-to-end customer support journey, including:

  • Order Management: Handling inquiries related to order placement, modifications, and tracking.
  • Delivery & Logistics: Investigating and resolving issues concerning non-delivery, delays, and lost packages.
  • Returns & Refunds: Guiding customers through our return process and efficiently managing refund requests.
  • Subscription Management: Assisting customers with their subscription accounts, including sign-ups, changes, and cancellations.
  • Product Information: Providing detailed and accurate information about our range of products, ingredients, and their benefits.
  • Issue Resolution: Proactively identifying and resolving customer concerns, turning potentially negative experiences into positive ones.
  • Feedback Collection: Gathering valuable customer feedback to help improve our products and services.
  • Relationship Building: Fostering strong, positive relationships with our pet parent community, embodying our brand's empathetic and supportive nature.
  • Advocacy: Acting as a brand ambassador, passionately communicating our mission and values.
  • Continuous Improvement: Collaborating with internal teams to streamline processes and enhance the overall customer journey.

What you're made of:

  • Proven experience in a customer service role, preferably in an e-commerce or direct-to-consumer environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to convey empathy and professionalism.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing customer needs.
  • Patience, resilience, and a genuine desire to help others.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM software and standard office applications.
  • A genuine love for animals and an understanding of the unique bond between pets and their humans.
  • Experience with subscription-based services is a plus.
