Job Summary: We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Operations Executive to join our Freight Forwarding team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational activities related to the efficient and timely movement of freight across various transportation modes. You will work closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of goods while optimizing costs, ensuring compliance, and maintaining high standards of service & Looking for Immediate Joiners. Role & responsibilities Freight Management: Coordinate and manage end-to-end freight operations, including booking shipments, preparing documentation, and tracking shipments. Ensure timely delivery of shipments, managing both inbound and outbound logistics. Manage and update shipment statuses and resolve any issues or delays promptly. Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all shipments comply with local and international regulations and documentation requirements, including customs documentation and bills of lading. Prepare, verify, and maintain all necessary documents such as invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin. Supplier & Vendor Coordination: Liaise with shipping lines, airlines, trucking companies, and other third-party vendors to ensure smooth and timely transportation of goods. The candidate will be responsible for filing documents with customs, coordinating with authorities, and ensuring timely clearance of cargo. Key Responsibilities: File Bill of Entry and Shipping Bill through the ICEGATE/EDI system . Submit and sign customs documents as an authorized G Card Holder . Coordinate with Customs officials , CHA , shipping lines , and CFS/ICD staff . Ensure correct HS code classification , duty calculation, and compliance with all customs rules. Track shipments, manage DO release , and handle any queries or inspections. Ensure all documentation is complete, accurate, and filed on time. Represent the company at customs for assessments, queries, and audits. Requirements: Graduate in any stream (Commerce preferred). Valid G Card issued by Indian Customs . Minimum 2 years of experience in customs clearance operations. Good knowledge of customs procedures, documents, and EDI systems. Strong communication and coordination skills. Willing to work from port, CFS, or customs locations as needed.
