Job Description

Credit Research Analyst (Sell-Side, Multi-Sector Coverage)
Join our dynamic sell-side research team as a Credit Research Analyst and play a pivotal role in shaping investment decisions across multiple sectors. Leveraging your strong credit and financial modeling skills, you will evaluate corporate creditworthiness, craft insightful research reports, and deliver actionable recommendations to institutional clients. Build and maintain detailed credit and financial models for companies across various sectors (e.g., Industrials, Consumer, Infrastructure, Financials).
Conduct fundamental credit analysis, including ratio analysis, cash-flow projections, and capital-structure assessments.
Monitor and evaluate industry trends, macroeconomic indicators, and company-specific developments that impact credit profiles.
Author clear, concise, and well-structured research reports and investment recommendations for institutional clients.
Present findings and investment theses to internal sales/trading teams and external investors through calls, webinars, and client meetings.
Collaborate with equity research, sales, and trading teams to provide integrated market insights.
Track and update bond market developments, spreads, and relative value opportunities.
Ensure all research output adheres to compliance, regulatory, and internal quality standards.

Requirements:

2–5 years of hands-on experience in credit research, investment research, or related financial analysis roles.
Proven expertise in credit and financial modeling, including DCF, comparable companies, and scenario analysis.
Solid understanding of fixed-income products, corporate finance concepts, and capital markets.
Excellent report-writing skills with the ability to distill complex information into clear, actionable insights.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with Bloomberg, Capital IQ, or similar data platforms.
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
Strong analytical mindset, attention to detail, and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to present ideas effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Nice to Have:

Progress toward or completion of CFA, CAIA, or equivalent professional qualification.
Prior experience covering multiple sectors or high-yield/emerging-market credits.
Familiarity with ESG (Environmental, Social, Governance) credit considerations and frameworks.
Working knowledge of programming or data-analysis tools (e.g., VBA, Python, R) for model automation and data visualization.
Exposure to rating-agency methodologies or prior work at a credit rating agency.
