Credit Manager

Job Summary:

The Credit Manager will lead a team of Home Loan Sales Executives and guide them in evaluating customer profiles, identifying suitable lending institutions, and structuring loan proposals in line with customers financial standing, property type, and bank policies. The role requires a blend of credit assessment expertise, leadership skills, and strong knowledge of mortgage products across multiple banks.

Key Responsibilities:

l Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Home Loan Sales Executives to achieve business and quality targets.

l Evaluate customers’ financial profiles, income stability, credit worthiness.

l Advise the team on selecting the most appropriate bank or financial institution based on the customer’s profile and property type (residential, commercial, under-construction, resale, etc.).

l Review loan applications to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with bank and company policies.

l Coordinate with partner banks, NBFCs, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth loan processing and timely disbursal.

l Stay updated with the latest lending criteria, credit policies, and interest rates across banks.

l Provide training and continuous guidance to the sales team on credit parameters, documentation, and risk assessment.

l Monitor team performance and ensure adherence to compliance, audit, and operational standards.
