Credit Control Officer

Position: Senior Executive

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitoring the generation of revenue on a monthly basis.
• Dispatching/emailing service invoicing within appropriate timeframes.
• Coordinating with customers to confirm invoice delivery.
• Conducting regular follow-ups with customers for outstanding clearance.
• Sending reminder letters against outstanding amounts.
• Liaising with cross-functional teams, including sales teams, to monitor compliance and take necessary proactive measures to mitigate credit and compliance risks.
• Preparing various month-end accounts receivable reports and other ad hoc reports for credit and finance.
• Maintaining and handling agreements, cheques, payment applications, and depositing cheques in the bank.
• Performing customer account reconciliations to assess the true receivable position.
• Meeting customers for account reconciliations and collections.
• Reporting to head office on collection positions on a weekly basis and updating cash flow statements based on AR collections.
• Conducting aging analysis and variance analysis of demand (sales receivable demanded based on payment plans) and collections.
• Communicating regularly with sales managers and service teams for issue resolutions and maintaining effective working relationships.
• Settling overdue accounts through email/telephone contact and issuing regular overdue reminder letters.

Desired Skills:

• General knowledge of accounting, including General Ledger, Accounts Receivable (AR), and Banking.
• Conceptual understanding of AR collection processes and their impact on cash flow.
• Proficiency in computer applications, with strong Excel skills; SAP knowledge will be an advantage.

Qualification:

• B. Com / M. Com / MBA Finance
• SAP knowledge must.
