Costing & Budget Analyst

Qualification: MBA – Finance Management (Fresher)

We are looking for a highly motivated fresh MBA (Finance) graduate to join our

New Product Development and Innovation team as a Costing & Budget Analyst.

The role involves supporting product costing, budgeting, financial analysis, and

customer commercial activities for OEM / ODM gas stove / Hob / Hob Top/

Chimney projects.

The selected candidate will receive hands-on training in costing methodologies,

manufacturing processes, and commercial finance.

2. Key Responsibilities

A. Costing Support

 Assist in preparing cost sheets for new products and engineering changes.

 Support the creation of should-cost analysis under guidance.

 Coordinate with NPD and Engineering teams to collect BOM and process

details.

 Assist in comparing supplier quotes and validating cost drivers.

B. Budgeting & Financial Planning

 Support preparation of project budgets for NPD and Innovation projects.

 Track expenses and assist in preparing variance reports.

 Maintain records of tooling costs, sample costs, and development budgets.

C. Customer Commercial Support

 Assist in preparing customer quotations and pricing proposals.

 Help maintain customer price files, margin sheets, and cost breakdowns.

 Update and validate commercial data required by Business Development.

D. Reporting & Documentation

 Prepare daily/weekly MIS reports for management review.

 Maintain costing and budgeting trackers.

 Support in RM price tracking and basic financial impact analysis.

E. Learning & Cross-Functional Support

 Work closely with NPD, Procurement, Production, and Quality teams.

 Learn manufacturing cost structures and commercial processes.

 Participate in internal project discussions and gain project exposure.

3. Required Skills

 Strong analytical and numerical ability.

 Good understanding of basic finance, costing, and budgeting concepts.

 Proficiency in Excel (mandatory) – formulas, pivot tables, charts.

 Basic knowledge of manufacturing / BOM is an added advantage.

 Good communication and presentation skills.

 Willingness to learn and adapt quickly.

4. Qualification

 MBA – Finance Management (Fresher)

 Additional certifications in Excel / Financial Modeling (optional)
