Cost Estimator

Role Overview: You will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for various Oil & Gas Pipeline Projects. As a Pipeline Cost Estimator at Kalpataru Projects International Ltd, you will work closely with engineering, procurement, and project management teams to develop cost estimates, lead tendering and proposal preparation, perform cost analysis, and engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met. Key Responsibilities: - Develop detailed and accurate cost estimates for pipeline projects, including materials, labour, and overhead costs. - Lead the preparation of tenders and proposals, ensuring alignment with client requirements. - Perform cost analysis and value engineering to identify cost-saving opportunities. - Coordinate with cross-functional teams for bid preparation and submission. - Conduct market research on industry trends, material costs, and labor rates. - Engage with clients and stakeholders to clarify project requirements. - Identify potential risks in project estimates and propose mitigation strategies. - Maintain comprehensive records of all estimates and supporting documentation. - Contribute to process improvements and best practices in estimating and tendering processes. Qualification Required: - BE/B Tech in Mechanical Engineering - 10+ years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry with expertise in refinery, process plant, and fertilizer plant projects - Proficiency in estimation software and tools (e.g., Primavera, MS Project) - Familiarity with advanced cost estimation techniques and software - Knowledge of industry standards and regulations relevant to Oil & Gas process plants - Experience in International and Domestic Projects with an understanding of global procurement practices Additional Details: Kalpataru Projects International Ltd is seeking a highly experienced Pipeline Estimator to join their team in Mumbai, Santa Cruz.
