Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Plan and direct

  management accounting activities

  including cost & variance analysis, monthly performance analysis, investment decisions, balance sheet management, and decision support for manufacturing units.
• Ensure

  strict adherence to processes and internal controls

  , fostering a compliance-driven culture within the factory.
• Lead

  financial monitoring

  of units and drive implementation of corrective actions where required.
• Execute the

  business planning process

  , including budget preparation, rolling forecasts, and monthly performance reviews.
• Ensure robust

  information systems

  are in place for management and financial accounting purposes.
• Manage the

  finance and accounting team

  , ensuring skill development and training.
• Maintain

  business and financial controls

  and ensure full organizational compliance.
• Implement

  production inventory controls

  – periodic physical verification, perpetual count, and management of obsolete inventory.
• Oversee the

  factory P&L

  and prepare regular

  performance MIS reports

  for review with key stakeholders.
• Drive

  cost optimization

  and lead

  cost-saving initiatives

  across operations.
• Serve as a

  member of the Factory Management Team

  , ensuring adherence to general business practices.
• Evaluate

  Capex proposals

  , manage budgets, and monitor spending.
• Ensure

  vendor account reconciliation

  and timely resolution of disputes.
• Lead

  global factory performance reporting

  and support cross-functional collaboration with commercial teams.

Skills and Experience Required

• Education:

  CA / ICWA

• Experience:

  3–5 years in Finance & Accounting within a

  manufacturing setup

  , preferably in

  Consumer Durables or FMCG

  .
• Strong understanding of

  Product Costing

  ,

  Manufacturing Accounting

  , and

  Internal Controls

  .
• Proven experience in

  short- and mid-term planning

  ,

  cost management

  net asset management

• Excellent command of
