Cost Controller

Role Overview: As a Cost Controller based in Jaipur, your role will involve developing, monitoring, and controlling budgets for specific projects, departments, or the entire organization. You will be responsible for analyzing costs, identifying areas for cost reduction or optimization, and preparing regular financial reports including cost forecasts for management. Comparing actual costs to budgeted or estimated costs, you will identify any discrepancies and predict future costs based on past trends, current expenditures, and upcoming projects. Ensuring that financial records are up-to-date and reconciled with actual project or department costs will be a key part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will be expected to identify opportunities for streamlining cost management processes and improving efficiency, ensuring timely liquidation of inventory, physical stock taking, and overall financial compliance with company policies, standards, and regulations. Your daily tasks will involve cost control, cost accounting, analytical skills, finance, and cost management. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, monitor, and control budgets for projects, departments, or the organization. - Analyze costs and identify areas for cost reduction or optimization. - Prepare and deliver regular financial reports, including cost forecasts. - Compare actual costs to budgeted or estimated costs and address any discrepancies. - Predict future costs based on past trends, current expenditures, and upcoming projects. - Ensure financial records are up-to-date and reconciled with actual costs. - Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost management efficiency. - Ensure compliance with company policies, standards, and regulations. Qualifications Required: - CMA / CA qualified with at least 3-5 years of relevant experience. - Strong Cost Control and Cost Accounting skills. - Proficient in Analytical Skills. - Experience in financial analysis and budgeting. - Attention to detail and accuracy. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. - Familiarity with Budget preparation, MIS, Product Cost, and experience in MS-Excel, SAP, or similar ERP in Manufacturing Industries. - Previous work experience in a Listed company will be advantageous.,
