Job Title: Cost & Estimation Engineer Company: Stein Seal Company (India) Private Limited Location: Dabaspet Industrial Area, Bengaluru Rural, Karnataka Job Type: Full-time, On-site Requirements: - Educational Qualification: BE in Mechanical, Industrial, Production, or similar disciplines - Relevant Experience: 5-6 years - Salary: INR 5-6 LPA Job Summary: We are seeking a Cost & Estimation Engineer to join our team. As a Cost & Estimation Engineer, you will be responsible for estimating costs for manufacturing orders, analyzing manufacturing costs, and coordinating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: - Estimate costs for manufacturing orders based on technical requirements - Analyze manufacturing costs, including raw materials, labor, equipment, and tooling - Identify and quantify potential cost uncertainties - Update costs based on latest information and project scope changes - Coordinate with engineering, procurement, and other project stakeholders - Determine the scope of the order and review preliminary data and deliverables - Attend pre-bid meetings to determine the scope of work and required contents of the estimate - Utilize subcontractor or vendor cost and proposal data to support estimates - Evaluate and incorporate historical data from past orders into unit and man-hour figures - Develop cost estimates for an entire order and assist with contract handoff to Project Managers/Operations Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical/industrial/production or related branch) - 5-6 years of relevant experience - Proficiency in cost estimation software and tools - Strong analytical and mathematical skills - Excellent communication and coordination abilities What We Offer: - Competitive salary (INR 5-6 LPA) - Opportunity to work with a leading company in the industry - Collaborative and dynamic work environment
