Job Title: Planning Engineer Company: Stein Seal Company (India) Private Limited Location: Dabaspet Industrial Area, Bengaluru Rural, Karnataka Job Type: Full-time, On-site Requirements: - Educational Qualification: BE in Mechanical - Relevant Experience: 4-5 years - CTC: INR 4-5 LPA Job Summary: We are seeking a Planning Engineer to join our team. As a Planning Engineer, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling the production process to ensure maximum efficiency and minimum delay. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and implement production plans, including just-in-time planning, material requirements planning, capacity planning, and production activity control - Monitor and report on key performance indicators, such as planning adherence, WIP monitoring, work center utilization, planning backlog, customer backorder, and lead time and schedule attainment - Perform rough cut capacity planning and master production scheduling - Coordinate production workflow for one or multiple products - Plan and prioritize operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay - Determine workforce, equipment, and raw materials needed to cover production demand - Monitor jobs to ensure they finish on time and within budget - Address issues that arise, aiming for minimum disruption - Obtain output information and prepare monthly dispatch plans, planned vs. achieved, and submit status and performance reports Requirements: - Proven experience as a production planner - Excellent knowledge of production planning and quality control principles - Experience in manufacturing resource planning and supply chain management - Working knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems - Proficiency in mathematics and statistics - Strong organizational and problem-solving skills - Excellent communication abilities Preferred Sectors: - Aerospace - Manufacturing industry
