Role Description

Identify, approach, and onboard new college/institution clients for IT products and solutions. Understand client requirements, present product demos, and tailor solutions accordingly. Manage end-to-end sales cycle — lead generation, pitch, negotiation, closing, and onboarding. Conducted on-site visits and campus demos and maintained a strong field presence. Build and maintain strong relationships with decision-makers (principals, directors, department heads). Collaborate with marketing and product teams to improve pitch strategies and customer engagement. Maintain CRM data and provide regular updates on sales pipeline and revenue forecasts. Meet and exceed monthly/quarterly targets.


Qualifications

  • 2–5 years of experience in IT product sales / SaaS / EdTech, preferably with colleges or institutions.
  • Proven track record in field sales or B2B sales with tangible achievements.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Willingness to travel frequently for on-ground meetings and demos.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and comfortable working in a dynamic startup-like environment.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA/PGDM is a plus.


Preferred (Good to Have):

  • Prior experience selling to colleges, universities, or academic institutions.
  • Understanding of the education technology landscape or CRM/ERP products.
  • Multilingual ability is a bonus.

The ideal candidate is someone who understands the decision making ecosystem in institutions, can build strong relationships, and is capable of driving consistent closures.
