Job Responsibilities
- Developing and maintaining core Java applications
- Designing and implementing software solutions
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex problems
- Performing code reviews and mentoring junior developers
- Participating in agile development processes
- Ensuring the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
UI - Developing and maintaining the user interface
- Develop web user interface using HTML, style the screens using CSS , understand and use CSS preprocessors like SASS
- Developing javascript code using object based concepts(no typescript) for validations, JSON data processing, making AJAX communications
- Using Jquey for DOM manipulation and event handling, user interactions handling
- Develop Models, views for frontend using backbonejs MVC framework
- Debug HTML, CSS and javascript using developer tools on browser
- Add ARIA attributes to improve the accessibility, WAI-ARIA (Web Accessibility Initiative - Accessible Rich Internet Applications)
- Develop JSP pages using JSTL core tags and custom tags, also develop custom tags as required
- Fixing bugs related to javascript, HTML and CSS on front end
- Make sure User interface is proper in all sizes of devices like desktop, mobile and pads etc. as it is responsive application
- Take care of reusability, maintainability and security aspects of the code as per coding standards and best practices
- Contribute to tech debt reduction and code quality improvement initiatives
- Participate in code review process
