JOB VACANCY: Controls Engineer
Job Role: Controls Engineer
Salary: As per industry standards
Service Contract: 3 years
Qualification: Diploma in (EEE or Mechatronics or EIE) , B.E (EEE or Mechatronics or EIE or ROBOTICS AND AUTOMATION)
Experience: Minimum 3 yrs in both PLC and ROBOT programming
Skills: PLC programming, ROBOT programming (ABB, FANUC)
Job Description:
Ø Responsible for Design and Drawing electrical drawings using 2D CAD / EPLAN.
Ø Architect, write and debug PLC code, HMI & ROBOT programs that is organized, structured, documented, maintainable and reusable
Ø Generate HMI screens for complex machinery and provide documentation for use and troubleshooting
Ø Manage electrical cabinet builds and field wiring
Ø Select and size electrical and electromechanical components such as servos, 3 phase motors, analog and digital sensor, and safety-rated components
Ø Train internal team to support automated equipment after deployment
Ø Identify, develop and design control panels, as well as provide improvements and upgrades to control systems
Ø Report performance trends/issues to management and recommend solutions
Ø Develop standard operating procedures and train personnel on all new systems
Ø Define control system and instrumentation maintenance requirements and procedures
Ø Identify instrumentation deficiencies and suggest alternatives
Ø Assist multi-discipline engineering team in creating meaningful alarms and periodically check their effectiveness
Ø Creating the BOM.
Ø Debugging the machines at shop, site & Online.
Ø Travel will be involved extensively for Installation & Commissioning.
Ø Preparation of reports and documentation as and when required.
Ø Willing to learn and extensive Robot and PLC programming.
Ø Willing to update with latest technologies and use it for work.
Ø Train the colleagues or juniors as required.
Desired Skills and Experience
· Diploma / BE in Electrical/Mechatronics/Mechanical Engineering or 3+ years working at an industrial manufacturing facility and related instrumentation/automation certifications
· Software knowledge: PLC programming, experience with Siemens TIA Portal, Rockwell RS, Vision
· 1 year of experience with studio, and Ignition SCADA system
· Experience in design, operation, and maintenance of industrial control systems
· Strong data and system analysis, troubleshooting, and teamwork skills
· ROBOT programming (ABB, FANUC etc).
· Excellent verbal and written communication skills
· Excellent organization skills, persistence, good judgment, and attention to detail
· ProfiNET, Modbus tcp/IP, ethernet i/p and Kepware experience a plus
· Familiarity with High Performance HMI best practices a plus
· Proficiency in creating detailed schematics and models in CAD (SolidWorks preferred) a plus
· Familiarity with MySQL or other relational databases a plus
· Text-based programming (C,C++, Python) a plus
· Must be a good problem solver and enjoy a dynamic, collaborative, and team-oriented work environment
· Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in the same time frame
· Ability to work in a fast paced and deadline driven environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
