Job Description

1. System Design & Development


Design and develop automation systems using PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, Robotic Systems and industrial control systems.


Prepare engineering documentation including functional design specifications, control narratives, and electrical schematics.


Select appropriate hardware and software components for automation systems.


2. Programming & Configuration


Develop and test PLC programs (Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Schneider, etc.).


Configure SCADA and HMI systems (Wonderware, WinCC, Ignition, etc.).


Program, configure, and troubleshoot industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa, Mitsubishi).


Develop and optimize robotic motion paths, pick-and-place sequences, welding, palletizing, or other automated processes.


Integrate robots with PLCs, vision systems, conveyors, and safety devices.


Perform robot simulations and offline programming using tools such as RoboDK, ABB RobotStudio, or FANUC Roboguide.


Integrate sensors, actuators, vision systems, robotics, and other industrial devices.


3. Installation & Commissioning


Supervise installation, wiring, and commissioning of automated equipment.


Conduct system integration tests (FAT, SAT) and ensure systems meet operational requirements.


Troubleshoot and debug automation systems during commissioning and production support.


4. Maintenance & Support


Provide technical support for automated systems, including diagnosing and resolving faults or performance issues.


5. Training Programmes


To Train operators and maintenance personnel on automated systems.


Skills:


Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or Automation Engineering.


2–5+ years of experience in industrial automation or control systems engineering.


Strong knowledge of PLC, HMI, SCADA, VFDs, Robot brands such as (FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa, UR Cobot), industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Modbus, Profibus, etc.).


Experience with control panel design, instrumentation, and industrial sensors.


Proficient in AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar electrical design tools.


Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills.


Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.


Strong knowledge of robot brands such as FANUC, ABB, KUKA, Yaskawa, or Mitsubishi.


Experience with vision systems, end-of-arm tooling (EOAT), and robotic safety systems.
