DROPZ is India's first true limited-edition platform, a culture-forward destination where every product drop is rare, intentional, and never restocked. We aren't just building a brand; we're building a platform that curates stories through exclusive in-house drops, creator collaborations, and collectible releases across fashion, lifestyle, and beyond. Every drop is a moment, but the platform is the big picture and our brand must ignite cultural hype.
We’re looking for a Content Strategist to shape and execute DROPZ’s content vision. You’ll define our narrative, lead a team of writers, and ensure every piece of content amplifies our bold, culture-driven identity.
𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗬𝗼𝘂’𝗹𝗹 𝗗𝗼
• Shape the Content Vision: Develop and drive a comprehensive content strategy that aligns with DROPZ’s brand goals and cultural relevance.
• Lead the Team: Mentor and manage a team of content writers, ensuring consistency, quality, and adherence to brand voice.
• Write the most important pieces yourself: launch announcements, campaign taglines, long-form threads, reel scripts, website copy, newsletter stories, Discord drops.
• Work hand-in-glove with the Creative Lead and Growth team to make sure words and visuals feel like they came from the same brain.
• Deep-dive into performance data (completion rates, saves, shares, sentiment) and use it to make every next piece stronger than the last.
• Stay ahead of culture: spot emerging slang, sounds, formats, and references early, then weave them into the brand naturally (never forced).
• Develop and maintain tone-of-voice guidelines, content playbooks, and reusable frameworks that keep the brand consistent while allowing creativity to breathe.
𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗔𝗿𝗲
• A strategic leader with 2+ years of content strategy or editorial experience, with at least 2+ years leading content for a consumer brand, platform, or top-tier creator/business account.
• Proven ability to write copy that moves product, you have examples of campaigns or posts that directly drove sell-outs or massive engagement spikes.
• A natural storyteller who understands Gen-Z and millennial India at a native level (Hinglish fluency is table stakes).
• Comfortable switching between witty one-liners, long-form storytelling, hype-building threads, and calm, authoritative brand voice.
• Experienced managing writers and giving sharp, respectful feedback that raises the bar.
• Data-literate: you live in Instagram/Twitter analytics, Reports, and Google Analytics, and you actually change direction when the numbers tell you to.
• Bonus points if you’ve worked in fashion, streetwear, music, gaming, or any category where storytelling = revenue.
