Job Title: Content Marketing & SEO SpecialistLocation: KolkataDepartment: MarketingReports To: Marketing Manager / Head of GrowthEmployment Type: Full-TimeJob Summary:We are looking for a creative and data-driven Content Marketing & SEO Specialist to develop and execute effective content strategies that drive organic traffic, improve search rankings, and enhance audience engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong grasp of SEO best practices, a knack for storytelling, and the ability to turn data into actionable insights.Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and manage a content calendar aligned with overall marketing goals.
  • Conduct keyword research and SEO audits to inform content planning.
  • Write, edit, and optimise high-quality content for web pages, blogs, social media, landing pages, email campaigns, and other channels.
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, and other stakeholders to produce multimedia content.
  • Ensure all content is consistent with brand voice, style, and tone.
  • Monitor and report on content performance using tools like Screaming Frog, Search Console, and SEO platforms (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs). (Must have)
  • Proficiency in using Google Analytics (GA4), Google Tag Manager, and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Webflow).
  • Conduct competitor analysis and stay up to date with SEO trends and algorithm updates.
  • Optimise existing content to improve SERP rankings and increase engagement.
  • Support link-building efforts through outreach and content partnerships. (Must have)
  • Coordinate with paid media teams to align organic and paid strategies.
  • Coordinate content marketing campaigns that support inbound lead generation, product education, and brand building.
  • Support email marketing and social media with relevant content and messaging.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.
  • 3-4 years of experience in content marketing and SEO.
  • Strong understanding of on-page, off-page, and technical SEO.
  • Proven ability to write compelling, SEO-friendly content.
  • Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress), SEO tools (SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz), and analytics platforms (Google Analytics, GA4).
  • Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in B2B or SaaS content marketing.
  • Knowledge of content marketing funnel and lead generation strategies.
  • Familiarity with A/B testing and CRO principles.
  • Familiarity with content localisation and international SEO.
  • Understanding of content syndication, influencer marketing, and digital PR.
