Consultant - Finance Advisory

As a Consultant/Assistant Manager/Manager in Finance Transformation at KPMG, you will play a crucial role in delivering sustainable outcomes to clients by offering solutions that help them achieve their finance vision and strategy, streamline finance operations, enhance enterprise performance management, and provide effective decision support. **Key Responsibilities:** - Manage individual work or workstream independently - Research on topics related to the client, client industry/sector, and project topic from internal and secondary sources - Create a plan for the workstream and share it with the larger team - Independently prepare and manage interactions with the client - Collate data collection sheets, work with the client to gather necessary data points, analyze/test hypotheses, and create client-ready recommendation reports - Collaborate with the team to develop solutions to client opportunities, prioritize them, and present them to the client - Provide timely status updates on projects and project workstreams - Participate in steering committee meetings - Document project work for quality compliance and sales collaterals - Support the practice with research for proposals, thought leadership articles, or practice initiatives - Train team members as required - Participate in knowledge sessions on future finance and related topics **Qualifications Required:** - An MBA in Finance or Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant - Minimum experience of 2+ years in finance function or associated roles; consulting experience preferred - Experience working as a finance user or implementation consultant on SAP/Oracle/MSD ERPs - Understanding of financial planning and reporting platforms like SAC/BPC, HFM (added advantage) - Knowledge of automation/digital finance tools like RPA, workflows in transactional finance processes - Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) - Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency in data analytics and visualization tools preferred - Integrity, values, principles, and a strong work ethic - Ability to work under pressure, meet stringent deadlines, and handle tough client conditions that may require extended working hours - Willingness to travel within India or abroad for short or long periods based on project requirements Join KPMG in India and be part of a dynamic team that is dedicated to delivering excellence in finance transformation services to clients across various sectors.,
