Consultant - Finance Advisory

You will be joining KPMG in India, a professional services firm affiliated with KPMG International Limited. Your role will be as a Consultant/ Assistant Manager/ Manager in Finance Transformation, located in Gurgaon, Bangalore, or Mumbai. Working in the Business Consulting service line, you will be focusing on finance transformation, where finance functions are evolving towards the role of a finance business partner. This transformation involves investments in digital finance tools and technologies such as ERP systems and OpenAI, requiring a new way of working and different skills and capabilities. Key Responsibilities: - Manage individual work or workstream independently - Conduct research on client-related topics from internal and secondary sources - Develop plans for workstreams and share them with the team - Prepare and handle client interactions autonomously - Collect and analyze data, and create client-ready recommendation reports - Collaborate with the team to devise solutions for client opportunities - Provide timely project updates and participate in steering committee meetings - Document project work for quality compliance and sales collaterals - Support the practice with research and train team members as needed - Participate in knowledge sessions on finance and related topics Qualifications: - MBA in Finance or Chartered Accountant or Cost Accountant - Minimum 2+ years of experience in finance or associated roles, consulting experience preferred - Experience with SAP/Oracle/MSD ERPs as a finance user or implementation consultant - Understanding of financial planning and reporting platforms like SAC/BPC, HFM - Knowledge of automation/digital finance tools like RPA, workflows in transactional finance processes - Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) - Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills - Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and travel as required Equal employment opportunity information is applicable to all candidates.,
