Responsibilities:

• Install, configure, and manage Apache Superset in production environments (Linux/Ubuntu, Docker, Kubernetes).
  
• Oversee Superset administration, including workspace management, user provisioning, role-based access control (RBAC), row-level security (RLS), and tenant isolation.
  
• Develop and optimize dashboards, leveraging SQL, Python, and Jinja templating for dynamic and reusable components.
  
• Enhance platform look-and-feel with CSS, theming, and custom React-based visualizations.
  
• Integrate Superset with external systems (databases, APIs, authentication systems like LDAP/OAuth/SAML).
  
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and tune Superset to support large-scale analytics workloads.
  
• Implement and maintain DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and infrastructure-as-code for Superset.
  
• Collaborate with data engineering teams to build optimized pipelines for Superset consumption.
  
• Ensure data governance, compliance, and security frameworks are embedded in the BI layer.
  
• Provide end-user support, training, and documentation to business users and analysts.
  
• Research and implement custom features, plugins, or integrations as required.
  
• Act as the primary point of contact for Superset strategy, upgrades, and roadmap alignment with business needs.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of BI/analytics experience with at least 3 years of hands-on Apache Superset expertise.
  
• Strong background in SQL and data modeling for BI applications.
  
• Proven track record of Superset administration: user/role management, security setup, and performance tuning.
  
• Proficiency with Linux/Ubuntu, Docker, and Kubernetes environments.
  
• Experience with CSS, React, and frontend customization to tailor Superset dashboards.
  
• Strong programming knowledge in Python (plugins, scripting, automation).
  
• Hands-on experience with DevOps tools (CI/CD pipelines, Git, Terraform, Ansible).
  
• Knowledge of authentication/integration methods (LDAP, OAuth, SAML, OpenID).
  
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern data warehouses (Snowflake, BigQuery, Redshift).
  
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to act as a trusted advisor.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in multi-tenant deployments of Superset.
  
• Knowledge of data governance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, SOC2).
  
• Contribution to Superset open-source community or custom plugin development.
  
• Prior consulting or client-facing experience, handling demanding stakeholders.
