Role Summary

We are looking for a Compliance Manager who will oversee and ensure that our operations, workforce, and supply chain adhere to legal regulations, social compliance, and customer audit requirements. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in compliance audits, labor laws, and sustainability initiatives, with the ability to lead internal teams and coordinate with external auditors.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with labor laws, health & safety standards, and environmental regulations.
• Prepare and manage for customer compliance audits (social, technical, and environmental).
• Coordinate with third-party auditors, buyers, and certifying bodies.
• Develop and implement policies and processes to maintain compliance.
• Conduct internal audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify gaps.
• Train and sensitize employees on compliance, ethical practices, and workplace standards.
• Maintain and update compliance-related documentation and reports.
• Ensure timely renewals of certifications (SEDEX, BSCI, ISO, etc.).
• Act as the point of contact for buyers and clients regarding compliance queries.
• Support HR and Administration in grievance handling, worker welfare, and safety programs.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Graduate/Postgraduate in HR, Law, Social Work, or related field.
• 5–8 years of experience in compliance/audit roles in textiles, apparel, or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws, factory compliance, and statutory regulations.
• Hands-on experience in customer audits (BSCI, SEDEX, WRAP, ISO, etc.).
• Excellent documentation, reporting, and presentation skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with auditors, buyers, and employees.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
