Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to all applicable statutory and regulatory requirements related to labour laws and industrial regulations.
  • Maintain and update compliance records and documentation in line with legal standards.
  • Liaise with government authorities and regulatory bodies for inspections, audits, and approvals.
  • Monitor changes in legislation and ensure timely implementation of necessary changes in company policies.
  • Prepare compliance reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Support internal audits and ensure timely closure of compliance-related observations.
  • Collaborate with HR, Legal, and Operations teams to ensure cross-functional compliance alignment.

Preferred candidate profile

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Law or related field (LLB/MBA preferred).

  • 4–5 years of hands-on experience in statutory compliance, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setup

    .
  • Strong knowledge of Indian labour laws and regulatory frameworks.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and presentations.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
  • Experience in liaising with government offices and authorities.
