Key Responsibilities
• Creation and maintenance of a Compliance framework and all supporting materials.
• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures across the organization.
• Ensure that our Audit framework is in place and managed.
• Build and maintain a knowledge library related to all attained ISO and other benchmark standards.
• Monitor and interpret changes in laws, regulations, and industry standards; ensure timely updates to internal practices.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for regulatory agencies and external auditors.
• Prepare and submit required compliance reports and documentation.
• Advise leadership on emerging compliance risks and recommend mitigation strategies.
• Work closely with the Head of Risk and Business Continuity and our Chief Legal Officer to ensure Compliance related risk is known, and that our statutory requirements are met.
• Investigate and resolve compliance violations, reporting findings to senior leadership and regulatory bodies as required.
• Collaborate with internal departments to ensure compliance training and awareness programs are effective and up to date.
• Support the Pre Sales and Sales activities in relation to compliance.
• Driving efficiencies through the adoption of technology and automation to integrate, simplify and ensure pro-active foresight of compliance.

• A strong understanding of compliance frameworks, regulatory environments, and risk management principles, with experience in leading cross-functional compliance initiatives.
• Proven ability to develop, implement, and continuously improve compliance policies and procedures across a multi-functional business. • Skilled in interpreting and applying complex legislation, regulations, and industry standards to operational practices.
• Experience in conducting internal audits and risk assessments to identify and mitigate compliance issues.
• Confident in managing relationships with external auditors and regulatory bodies, acting as the primary point of contact.
• Capable of preparing and presenting clear, accurate compliance reports and documentation to senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented approach to identifying and resolving compliance violations.
• Effective communicator with the ability to deliver training and awareness programmes that embed a culture of compliance.
• Comfortable advising senior leadership on emerging compliance risks and recommending practical mitigation strategies.
• Experience of automating and the use of AI and Technology to drive efficiency, sophistication and maturity in Compliance.
