The ideal candidate should have a keen interest in the stock market, a good grasp of financial statements, and the ability to analyse company performance and market trends. Location : Ahmedabad Key Responsibilities: Conduct Fundamental Analysis of listed companies by evaluating financial statements such as Balance sheets, Profit & Loss accounts, and Cash flow statements. Thorough understanding of every line item in the Financial Statements Should be able to make financial models for companies Conduct on-ground research, including but not limited to channel checks, meeting management, meeting competitors, etc. Assist in preparing stock reports, sector updates, and investment recommendations. Track portfolio companies, including but not limited to monitoring corporate actions, earnings reports, and news flows impacting stock performance. Assist the senior Analyst and head of research in the process of research Maintain and update research databases , models, and performance trackers. Participate in earnings calls, analyst meets , and market-related webinars. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelors degree in Finance or related field (MBA/CA/CFA Level 2 preferred). Strong understanding of financial statements, especially balance sheets and cash flow analysis. Good knowledge of stock markets, equity valuation concepts, and financial ratios. Proficiency in Excel; knowledge of tools like Capitaline, Bloomberg, or any research software is a plus. Excellent analytical, quantitative, and communication skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. Passion for stock markets and eagerness to build a career in equity research.
