Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Semi-Qualified Company Secretary based in Kolkata. The responsibilities include assisting in the preparation and filing of statutory documents, maintaining statutory books and records, ensuring compliance with regulatory and corporate governance requirements, conducting board meetings, and preparing meeting minutes. The role also involves liaising with regulatory authorities, drafting and reviewing contracts, and providing support for audits and policy framework implementation.

Qualifications

  • Proficiency in corporate governance, compliance, and company law procedures
  • Experience in drafting and reviewing contracts, agreements, and legal documentation
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills for maintaining statutory records and documents
  • Ability to liaise effectively with legal advisors, auditors, and regulatory authorities
  • Proficiency in using relevant tools and software for report preparation and record-keeping
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
  • Time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Bachelor's degree in related fields and CS course completion (Executive level) are mandatory
