About the Role:

Be the on-ground host who powers community life at The Hub. Welcome residents, run weekly rituals, execute 8–9 events a month, and ensure artists, vendors, and partners have everything they need. Ideal for hospitality or events students looking for hands-on experience in community operations and member success.

You'll master:

Requirements:

Essential:

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Hospitality, Event Management, or related field
• Excellent communication and people skills; confident, friendly on-ground host
• Weekend and event-day availability; comfortable with dynamic schedules
• Basic Excel/Google Sheets and strong Notion comfort; disciplined with CRM updates
• Highly organised with follow-through; able to coordinate vendors and internal teams
• Willingness to travel to different event venues as required

Bonus Points:

• Prior experience in hospitality, coworking, or events
• Social media or content coordination exposure; basic Canva or design skills
• Experience with vendor negotiation and budget tracking
• Comfortable running quick surveys and reporting simple metrics like attendance and NPS
• Bengaluru local knowledge and community awareness

What You'll Do:

Event Planning & Coordination

• Curate a diverse events calendar featuring social, cultural, educational, and wellness themes
• Execute virtual and in-person events from concept to completion with seamless coordination
• Manage logistics with internal teams, vendors, and partners (venues, refreshments, activities, A/V, permissions)
• Ensure all events reflect our brand identity, values, and community objectives

Community Engagement

• Serve as an engaging on-ground host who creates a vibrant, inclusive community atmosphere
• Connect with residents both online and offline through groups, common areas, and feedback sessions
• Boost participation using thoughtful prompts, regular rituals, and strategic incentives

Promotion & Communication

• Implement focused marketing plans across email, social media, and website channels
• Develop compelling event descriptions, flyers, and posts that maximize attendance
• Manage the full communication cycle: invitations, reminders, and post-event follow-ups

Ops, Budget & Reporting

• Monitor event budgets and expenses on both per-event and monthly bases
• Secure favorable vendor terms while maintaining high-quality experiences within budget
• Deliver concise weekly and monthly reports covering participation rates, engagement metrics, and feedback trends

Learning Activities

• Shadow senior team members to understand partnerships and event operations
• Master playbooks for member success and retention strategies
• Develop your personal toolkit for event execution, vendor relations, CRM management, and performance reporting
