Job Title: Community Manager

About the Role:
Are you passionate about financial literacy and youth engagement? Do you have experience building impactful communities and activating them through purposeful events? We're looking for a dynamic Community Manager to lead the Zerodha Varsity Tribe — a student-led movement focused on spreading financial awareness across college campuses in India.In this role, you'll be responsible for developing, managing, and nurturing a growing network of student volunteers and finance enthusiasts. You’ll drive strategy, plan city level events, and foster long-term engagement with a clear focus on financial literacy.

Key Responsibilities:
Community Building & Engagement
Build and manage a national community of student volunteers passionate about financial literacy.Create strong onboarding systems and engagement pipelines to keep Tribe members active and motivated.Develop and implement engagement campaigns, online challenges, and offline events across multiple cities.Event Strategy & Execution
Design and lead regional and campus-level events, workshops, and Tribe meetups to drive participation and learning.Coordinate with local student leaders, volunteers, and colleges to co-host impactful initiatives.Content & Communication
Work closely with the content teams and effectively execute financial literacy content within the community.Draft and manage community communications — emails, WhatsApp broadcasts, social media posts, etc. Community Strategy & InsightsDefine KPIs for community health and track engagement metrics. Regularly gather feedback from members and improve community programs accordingly. Present insights and reports to leadership for better strategic alignment. Collaboration & PartnershipsLiaise with colleges, student organizations, and external partners to expand community presence.Build a network of local city champions and campus leads who act as key drivers of engagement.

What We’re Looking For:
4–6 years of experience in community management, youth engagement, event planning, or related fields. A passion for financial education and experience working with college/university students.Excellent communication skills — written and verbal. Strong project and stakeholder management abilities.Proven track record of leading and scaling community initiatives. Willingness to travel across cities for on-ground activations.Background in student organizations, youth-focused NGOs, or education platforms is a plus.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹500,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
