Job Mission

Lead and shape the press& media communications strategy for Proximus Global activities in India through our Route Mobile subsidiary, ensuring alignment with global standards and local relevance. Oversee our global presence on social media for all of our Proximus Global brands (BICS, Telesign, Route Mobile and Proximus Global).


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive press and media approach for India, in close alignment with our Global External Communications Lead.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key media, industry stakeholders, and influencers, working with a local PR agency.
  • Supervise our global social media presence, contributing to a comprehensive strategy and roll-out of editorial calendar across our 4 brands.
  • Assist in crisis communications and reputation management as appropriate.
  • Work with Brussels HQ on internal communications campaigns relevant for our Indian-based colleagues, including newsletters, town halls, and intranet updates.
  • Collaborate with HR, marketing, and global communications team.
  • Monitor and report on communications effectiveness, providing insights for continuous improvement.
  • Supervise and mentor the operational communications team consisting of 2 direct reports.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, or related field.
  • 8+ years’ experience in corporate communications, PR, or media.
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.
  • Experience with digital and social media strategy.
