Commodity Analyst

We are seeking a detail-oriented and market-savvy Commodities Research Analyst to join our dynamic research team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for tracking, analyzing, and forecasting trends in key commodity markets (such as crude oil, natural gas, metals, and agricultural products). Your insights will support trading strategies, investment decisions, and client advisory services.:

Key responsibilities:

• Conduct in-depth fundamental and technical research on Indian commodity markets
• Analyse supply/demand dynamics, macroeconomic indicators, inventory levels, weather paterns, and geopolitical events impacting commodities
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly research reports and market outlooks
• Track price movements, government policies, and international trade data related to commodities
• Develop pricing models, forecasts, and valuation metrics for short- and long-term market trends
• Collaborate with trading, sales, and strategy teams to provide actionable insights
• Present findings to internal stakeholders and clients via reports, webinars, or presentations
• Stay updated on Indian economic indicators and their impact on commodity prices

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or related field
• 3–7 years of experience in commodity research or financial markets
• Strong analytical skills and knowledge of commodity market behaviour
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and market data platforms (like Bloomberg, Reuters, MCX, etc.)
• Excellent writen and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work under pressure and deliver timely, accurate insights

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹800,000.00 per year
