Job Description

Role Overview: As a Commodity Analyst, you will be responsible for owning and managing various functional activities within the assigned indirect procurement commodities. Your key responsibilities will include: Key Responsibilities: - Sourcing suppliers, evaluating them, and managing supplier relationships effectively. - Leading the evaluation and selection of suppliers, presenting joint recommendations to management, and negotiating commercial terms. - Conducting market analysis and risk management activities. - Managing inventory and monitoring supplier performance. - Ensuring compliance with ethical standards and regulations. - Performing cost analysis and optimizing procurement processes. - Collaborating cross-functionally and providing regular reports on procurement activities. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field. - Relevant certifications such as CPSM would be advantageous. - Minimum of three years of experience in a commodity analyst or similar role. - Knowledge of commodity markets and strong supplier evaluation and negotiation skills. - Analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. - Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior management. - Familiarity with inventory management principles, procurement policies, legal requirements, and ethical standards. - Proficiency in MS Office and Oracle.
