As a Financial Reporting Analyst at our company, you will play a crucial role in supporting Reporting for NAM (North America), AAL (American Air Liquide), and AHI (American Air Liquide Inc). Your responsibilities will include preparing statutory and target reporting, Board Schedules, Audited Financial Statements, including footnotes, and various committee presentations. You will be tasked with preparing semi-annual finance schedules for the American Air Liquide Holdings board meeting, offering comments and explanations on figures, and assisting with the semi-annual Account and Controls Committee presentation. Additionally, you will be expected to prepare an analysis of the Long Term Incentive Plan, collaborate closely with the Business Service Center in Argentina for Target and Reforecast, monthly comments preparation, validation of quarterly standalone financials for Treasury, and the preparation of footnotes for the audited North American IFRS financial statements. You will also be involved in researching new accounting standards, coordinating with external auditors on footnotes, developing answers to complex questions on reported figures, and maintaining desk procedures documentation. Furthermore, you will play a key role in driving accounting department projects, developing ad hoc schedules for planning and decision-making, and assisting with special projects as needed. Staying updated on International Financial Reporting Standards and related accounting issues will be crucial, and you will be accountable for the accuracy and consistency of the reported data. Compliance with all safety regulations and guidelines while on Company property is a non-negotiable requirement. To be a successful candidate for this role, you should possess a Bachelor's Degree (or in progress) in Accounting, Finance, or Management and/or equivalent experience in Accounting related processes. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Finance/Accounting role is required, along with a CPA or CPA candidate status. Strong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills are essential, along with the ability to multitask and adapt to changing environments. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a drive for process improvement, organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines are also necessary qualities. Proficiency with Microsoft and Google tools is expected, and proficiency in Oracle is a plus. Fluency in English (C1/B2) and Spanish is required, while French and/or Portuguese language skills are considered advantageous. Public Accounting work experience and the ability to travel internationally up to two times per year are preferred qualifications for this role.
