Job Description

Roles and Responsibility

  • Assist the Tandoor Chef in preparing and cooking various dishes.
  • Maintain high levels of cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen area.
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth food preparation and service.
  • Develop new recipes and menus to enhance culinary offerings.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Participate in inventory management and stock control.

Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Commis (Tandoor) or similar role in a hotel or restaurant setting.
  • Strong knowledge of tandoor cooking techniques and ingredients.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with kitchen equipment and utensils.
  • Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
