Job Title: Commis I Job Overview: We are looking for a skilled and motivated Commis I to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate should have strong foundational kitchen experience, good product knowledge, and the ability to independently handle assigned sections while maintaining high food quality and hygiene standards. ⸻ Key Responsibilities: • Prepare and cook dishes as per standard recipes and presentation guidelines. • Manage and operate an assigned section (hot kitchen, bakery, pantry, etc.). • Maintain high standards of food quality, taste, and portion consistency. • Assist in menu preparation, mise-en-place, and daily kitchen operations. • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of ingredients (FIFO/FEFO). • Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen as per food safety standards. • Support Commis II / III and guide junior team members when required. • Coordinate with senior chefs for smooth kitchen workflow. • Maintain inventory levels and report shortages to supervisors. • Follow all company SOPs, grooming standards, and safety guidelines. ⸻ Qualifications & Experience: • Diploma / Degree in Hotel Management or Culinary Arts. • 1–2 years of experience in a professional kitchen (bakery/culinary experience preferred). • Strong understanding of basic cooking techniques. • Ability to work in fast-paced environments. ⸻ Skills & Attributes: • Good culinary knowledge and practical skills. • Strong hygiene practices and attention to detail. • Team player with good communication skills. • Ability to multitask and handle pressure. • Positive attitude and willingness to learn. ⸻ Benefits: • Growth opportunities within the culinary team • Staff meals & uniform • Professional training and skill development call HR - 9528219291
