Assist in daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating as per standards. Follow recipes, portion sizes, and presentation guidelines to maintain consistency. Perform mise-en-place: chopping, cutting, cleaning, marinating, and ingredient preparation. Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of the workstation at all times. Support senior chefs and follow instructions during service and prep. Handle ingredients properly, ensuring correct storage, labeling, and rotation (FIFO). Operate kitchen tools and equipment safely and ensure proper upkeep. Assist in receiving, checking, and storing supplies. Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service. Continuously learn and upgrade culinary skills under the guidance of senior chefs.
