Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

1. Tender & Commercial Operations

  • Review tender documents, technical specifications, and commercial terms.
  • Prepare and submit tender proposals within deadlines.
  • Draft and process

    Purchase Orders (POs), Proforma Invoices (PIs), Quotations, and Work Orders

    .
  • Coordinate with sales, accounts, and clients to clarify commercial requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with industry standards for commercial documentation.

2. Production Coordination & Data Management

  • Maintain

    daily/weekly/monthly production records

    (melting, molding, fettling, machining, dispatch).
  • Track production schedules and ensure documentation accuracy.
  • Coordinate with production supervisors for job status updates.
  • Prepare internal reports such as production summaries, consumption reports, and delivery schedules.
  • Maintain traceability records relevant to alloy and steel casting processes.

3. Documentation & Compliance

  • Ensure all commercial and production documents meet client, audit, and ISO requirements.
  • Update vendor registrations, statutory forms, and tender portals.
  • Manage material inward/outward records in coordination with stores and dispatch.

4. Communication & Coordination

  • Serve as the commercial point of contact for

    clients, vendors, logistics, and internal teams

  • Follow up on approvals, clarifications, and pending documentation.
  • Support accounts team with billing inputs and dispatch details.

Required Skills

  • Strong understanding of

    foundry operations

    and casting production flow.
  • Proficiency in

    MS Office, ERP systems, and tender portals

    .
  • Sharp documentation skills with high accuracy.
  • Ability to coordinate across departments under time pressure.
  • Basic knowledge of taxes, GST, and commercial terms (preferred).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.Com, BBA, B.Sc, or Diploma in Mechanical/Metallurgy preferred).
  • 2–4 years of experience in

    commercial or production coordination

    in a casting or engineering manufacturing unit.
