Responsibilities

hands-on execution, leadership, and long-term strategy

  1. Technology Leadership

  • Define and lead Stayzaa’s

    tech vision and product roadmap

    .
  • Translate business needs into scalable, secure, and reliable systems.
  • Stay ahead of the curve in

    travel-tech innovations, AI, and automation

    .
  1. Product Development

  • Refine and expand the current MVP to make it

    launch-ready

    .
  • Build and enhance modules like

    search, booking, payments, property management, and AI concierge

    .
  • Ensure mobile-first and seamless

    UI/UX across web and app

    platforms.
  1. Architecture & Scaling

  • Architect backend systems for

    scalability (100 → 1000+ properties)

    .
  • Integrate

    map-based search, OTA filters, and dynamic pricing

    .
  • Set up cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and deployment workflows.
  1. Team Building & Leadership

  • Build, hire, and mentor a

    world-class tech team in Gujarat

    .
  • Define engineering culture, processes, and best practices.
  • Take ownership of technology decisions as a true co-founder.
  1. Collaboration & Growth

  • Work closely with the CEO & founding team to align tech with

    business strategy and fundraising goals

    .
  • Be actively involved in

    investor pitches, due diligence, and scaling conversations

    .
  • Drive tech decisions that directly impact

    revenue, user acquisition, and market leadership

    .



Qualifications

Must-Haves:

  • Strong experience in

    full-stack development

    (React, Next.js, Supabase/Postgres, Tailwind).
  • Hands-on expertise in

    system design, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Supabase), APIs, and integrations

  • Understanding of

    AI, automation, and personalization

    in consumer platforms.
  • Experience in building and scaling

    consumer-facing products

    .
  • Entrepreneurial spirit: willingness to work without fixed salary, resilience, and long-term mindset.
  • Location:

    Must be based in Gujarat

    (Ahmedabad, Surat, Rajkot, Vadodara preferred).
  • Commitment: Ready to

    work full-time for 3–5 years

    .


Nice-to-Haves (Bonus):

  • Experience in travel, hospitality, or real estate tech.
  • Prior experience as a startup founder, CTO, or early-stage tech lead.
  • Strong network in Gujarat’s startup/tech ecosystem.



What’s on the Table

  • Equity:

    4–10% (negotiable, tied to role & contribution; 4-year vesting with 1-year cliff).
  • Capital Contribution:

    ₹1 Lakh — mandatory as

    skin-in-the-game for runway growth

    .
  • Salary:

    Zero until traction → stable revenue → funding.
  • Commitment:

    Full-time, 3–5 years to build an enduring category leader.

    not a salaried job

    co-founder role

    ₹1 Lakh commitment

  • Once this position is filled, the CTO will work closely with the CEO to finalize the tech stack, refine the MVP, and launch at scale.
